The Game Fair 2023 and More

The Game Fair Ragley 2023. What a fantastic first day we had, the weather was kind most of the day, we had so many kids and families join me in my decoying demos in my show ring, much entertainment ensued to a packed crowd, the cheers and laughter could be heard right across the entire show. for the first time ever I had a brass band help me in my show ring with a wildfowling demo. I gave a worthy young lad a duck call as a personal gift to start them on their wildfowling journey. A big thanx to Rabbit Fever and my old mate Mark Bell for Young Sports Ambassador Dom's ferret box and for helping supply his first lucky net, a tradition going back to my first day in the Ferreting field, those that have my books will know of this rabbiting man's tradition. I met up with so many old friends and made so many new friends too, I gave out a Gargantua's amount of advice about game calling, game calling lessons and talked field craft and conservation whilst swapping stories, a fantastic second day bring on day three, Day three was brilliant, so many old friends and new, my show ring demos were well attended right to the very end, my team and I went home exhausted but happy. bring on next year we say 🙏💪⚔️🛡️🤠

I am so sorry my humble scribbles are a bit late this month and a bit all over the place, there just does not seem to be enough hours in the day or days in the week to be able to keep up with everything, my gruelling work load, charitable responsibilities, the kids organisation and have to move to a more family and child friendly range, plus my duties as a councillor and masonic duties are just overwhelming, I will hopefully catch myself up next month, or meet myself coming back one or the the other.

I do hope you have enjoyed my literal humble scribbles this month.
